C4K for Feb 2014

My 1st C4K was missed due to confusion on deadlines and workload.

C4K #2 There was Tanner who asked me to fill out a survey. He asked some random questions about if I liked One Direction or Justin Bieber more. I said One Direction based on Beiber's activity in the news at the time. There was also a question about how much I can bench press. That was one of few, besides some very basic statistic questions, I could answer honestly and completely.
My comment mention that I was glad he asked about the bench press.

C4K #3 Salma wrote about Flappy Birds. She discussed the game in frustrated detail. She seemed to like the game but was clearly frustrated about her success with it thus far. This was right around the time that there were several stories floating around the web about the creator of Flappy Birds removing it from app stores. I told her in my comment that I hadn't played it and asked why she thought the creator removed it. In her reply she speculated that maybe the creator didn't like the success of his invention.

C4K #4- Was for a student named "not austin". There were no posts under this name, so I found a post by "LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL" titled Suspense Redo. This student is discussing their impression from both an unknown book and movie. Deciding what his/her impression of it was. There are no details and the best I could offer was my thoughts on the "book vs movie" debate. I said I prefer to watch the movie first and enjoy both mediums. He/she also opened the blog with their belief that "anything can happen". This reminded me of David Hume's thoughts on where knowledge comes from, so I shared that impression in my comment and summed the philosophical treatise in a simple to understand format, "anything can happen".

  1. Flappy Birds was removed because of legal issues the creator was having due to the game. He was making over $50k a day. There was also a guy who sold his iPhone for $7,000 because it had the game on it. Those who had the game downloaded before it was removed will be allowed to keep the game but others will not be able to download it anymore.

    Most annoying game, EVER!
